Role Description The Automation Engineer is a full-time, on-site role based in Chennai. This role involves designing, developing, and implementing automation systems for special purpose machines, industrial robotics, and material handling solutions.

The Automation

Engineer will perform system testing, troubleshoot issues, optimize process control, and support commissioning and installation at customer sites. The role also includes preparing technical documentation, maintaining safety and quality standards, and providing ongoing technical support for deployed solutions.

Qualifications

- Strong skills in Automation and Process Control, including design, programming,



and optimization of control systems.
- Knowledge of Robotics and Industrial Automation, with experience in integrating robotic cells and automated material handling solutions.
- Proficiency in Electrical Engineering principles related to automation equipment, control panels, and instrumentation.
- Hands-on Troubleshooting skills for diagnosing and resolving mechanical, electrical, and software issues in automated systems.
- Relevant bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics, Instrumentation, or related field).
- Experience with PLCs, HMIs, motion control, and industrial communication protocols is highly beneficial.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, wiring diagrams, and specifications.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills, with attention to safety and quality standards.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills for working with cross-functional teams and clients on-site.
