Associate Project ManagerAbout the Role

Elkanio is looking for an Associate Project Manager to join our delivery team and support the planning, coordination, and execution of technology projects.

You will work closely with Project Managers, clients, developers, QA, product teams, and other stakeholders to ensure that project activities are well coordinated and delivered on time.

This role is ideal for someone with 1–2 years of experience in project coordination, software development, QA, business analysis, or a similar technology environment who is looking to build a solid career in project and delivery management.

The role provides hands-on exposure to Agile delivery, client communication, project tracking, software development processes, and cross-functional coordination.

What You'll DoProject Coordination

- Support Project Managers in planning and executing software projects.
- Track project tasks, milestones, deliverables, and timelines.
- Follow up with team members on assigned activities and ensure timely updates.
- Maintain project trackers and ensure project information remains current.
- Coordinate day-to-day activities between development, QA, product, UI/UX, DevOps, and other teams.
- Identify blockers and bring them to the attention of the Project Manager.
- Assist in coordinating releases, deployments, UAT, and production activities.

Meetings & Communication
- Schedule and coordinate project meetings, sprint ceremonies, and client discussions.
- Prepare meeting agendas and capture Minutes of Meetings (MOMs).
- Maintain action items, owners, and due dates and follow up until closure.
- Share project updates and relevant information with internal teams.
- Ensure decisions and requirements discussed in meetings are properly documented and communicated.

Agile & Delivery Support




- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
- Track sprint progress, commitments, blockers, and deliverables.
- Assist with backlog and task tracking in tools such as Jira.
- Coordinate with developers and QA to track stories, bugs, and pending activities.
- Support sprint and release planning activities.

Requirement & Documentation Support
- Assist in understanding and documenting client and product requirements.
- Coordinate with relevant teams to clarify requirements and dependencies.
- Help maintain project documentation, requirement documents, trackers, and decision logs.
- Ensure requirements and changes are properly communicated to the delivery team.

Reporting & Tracking
- Assist in preparing project status reports and management updates.
- Track planned versus actual progress.
- Maintain visibility of open issues, risks, dependencies, and action items.
- Escalate delays, blockers, and risks to the Project Manager in a timely manner.

What We're Looking For
- 1–2 years of experience in project coordination, software development, QA, business analysis, or a related technology role.
- Valuable understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- Basic understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Robust organizational and follow-up skills.
- Good written and verbal communication.
- Ability to coordinate effectively with multiple teams.
- Good attention to detail and documentation skills.




- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
- Proficiency with tools such as Jira, Confluence, Microsoft Teams, Slack, or similar platforms.
- Basic understanding of software development concepts such as APIs, databases, testing, deployments, and integrations.
- Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical team members.
- Proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and take ownership.

Technical Understanding You are not expected to be a developer, but you should have a basic understanding of:
- Frontend and backend development
- REST APIs and third-party integrations
- Databases and data flows
- Software testing and defect management
- UAT and release processes
- Cloud and deployment concepts
- Production support and incident management
- Basic software architecture concepts

Bonus Points
- Experience working in a software product or IT services organization.
- Experience with Jira and Agile/Scrum environments.
- Technical background in development, QA, or business analysis.
- Experience working with international clients or distributed teams.
- Exposure to travel, hospitality, e-commerce, fintech, or other digital platforms.
- Scrum Master, Project Management, or Agile certification.
