Position: Garment Merchandiser

Job Responsibilities

- Handle merchandising activities from order confirmation to final shipment .
- Coordinate with buyers, suppliers, production, sampling, quality and sourcing teams.
- Understand buyer requirements, tech packs, specifications and product details.
- Prepare and follow up on TA (Time and Action) calendars .
- Coordinate fabric, trims and accessories procurement as per production requirements.
- Follow up on sampling, approvals, lab dips, fabrics, trims and fit comments .
- Monitor production progress and ensure orders are completed within the agreed timeline.
- Coordinate with production and quality teams to resolve issues affecting delivery.
- Communicate with buyers regarding order status, approvals and changes.
- Check and maintain costing, consumption, order quantities and shipment details.
- Ensure all buyer requirements and quality standards are followed.
- Maintain order-related documentation and prepare regular status reports.




- Coordinate with the logistics team for final inspection and shipment .

Candidate Requirements

- Graduate/Diploma in Fashion, Apparel, Textile, Garment Technology or related field preferred.
- 25 years of experience in garment merchandising/apparel manufacturing .
- Good knowledge of garment production processes.
- Understanding of fabrics, trims, measurements, construction and garment terminology.
- Positive communication and negotiation skills.
- Strong follow-up and coordination abilities.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Good knowledge of MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint .
- Experience with export buyers and international apparel standards is an advantage.
