Role Overview
As a Senior Area General Manager, you will be responsible for supporting the company’s strategic vision of democratising the joy of travel across your assigned geography. You will manage a cluster of hotels within the area to ensure high levels of guest experience,
product quality, and business performance.This role requires a strong balance of operational execution, stakeholder management,
and business growth support. You will work closely with the area general manager and cross-functional teams to drive performance across the portfolio.
Key Responsibilities
- Operational Excellence
● Oversee day-to-day operations across assigned hotel properties, ensuring adherence to brand standards and service benchmarks
● Ensure compliance with Treebo's brand standards, SOPs, health and safety guidelines,
and service quality norms
● Conduct audits and quality checks,
and drive corrective actions with hotel partners
● Act as a key point of contact between the company and hotel partners for operational coordination
● Monitor guest satisfaction metrics and ensure effective service recovery mechanisms
- Business Development Support
● Support identification and evaluation of potential hotel properties within the assigned area
● Assist in due diligence, commercial discussions, and onboarding processes● Coordinate with the central business development team during launch and activation of new properties
● Ensure operational readiness of newly onboarded hotels
- Sales & MICE Support
● Work closely with internal sales teams and property owners to achieve revenue targets
● Identify opportunities for MICE and local corporate business and coordinate with relevant teams
● Support pricing execution, local promotions, and demand generation initiatives
● Assist in engaging local corporate clients and travel planners when required
- Team & Partner Management
● Supervise and guide on-ground hotel teams to deliver consistent guest experience
● Train hotel staff on brand values, SOPs, and service excellence standards
● Build and maintain strong working relationships with hotel owners and partners
● Ensure timely issue resolution and proactive communication with stakeholders
What Are We Looking For
● Strong communication, coordination, and stakeholder management skills
● 3–5 years of experience in hospitality operations with exposure to sales or business development
● Experience in managing multiple properties or cluster operations preferred
● Basic understanding of property acquisition and revenue drivers in hospitality
● Analytical mindset with structured problem-solving ability
● Ability to work in a quick-paced and target-driven environment
● Willingness to travel within the assigned geography
● Ownership mindset with strong execution focus
