Semi-Qualified Chartered Accountant (who does not wish to pursue CA any further) or Graduate with at least 3 years of experience.
Education & Qualification:
Semi-Qualified Chartered Accountant or Graduate with basic knowledge of accounting and compliances.
Responsibilities:
- Actively assisting the team in coordination and delivery of multiple projects within tight timeframe and deadline:
- Assist seniors in preparing a written submission to file before Income tax Authorities.
- Assessment proceeding, Reassessment Proceeding, Appeals (i.e., Litigation and Advisory in the domain of Income tax)
- Assist seniors in various compliances
- Ensure timely compliance with various statutory timelines
- Assist in determining tax liability on international transactions and advising the client on the same
- Draft/review tax memos, opinions, and presentations for various assignments.
- Managing Client deliverables through quality results:
- Supporting senior team members in timely completion of assignments.
- Building & nurturing an effective working relationship with varied stakeholders
- Research on domestic tax laws, international tax treaties, and other regulatory aspects.
- Team & Collaboration:
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams (legal, finance, advisory) to support seamless execution of transactions.
- Collaborating with internal teams to provide support and assistance in advising within local and global jurisdictions.
Skills Required:
- Basic knowledge of accounts and cash flow statements.
- Basic knowledge of Income-tax laws would be an added advantage.
- Positive decision-making & inter-personal skills.
- Effective communication and ability to articulate and cascade the vision and values.
- Highly principled with strong ethics.
