Job Summary

We are hiring an Assistant Manager – Sales for a B2B industrial sales role. The position involves business development and sales of industrial machinery, automation, coding and marking, labelling, printing, and packaging solutions.

We are looking for candidates with experience in industrial sales, technical sales, machinery sales, automation sales, engineering sales, packaging machinery, or coding and marking solutions.

Key Responsibilities

- Generate new leads and develop business opportunities in manufacturing, production, engineering, packaging, and industrial sectors.
- Identify customer requirements and recommend suitable industrial or technical solutions.
- Handle the complete sales process from lead generation to customer meetings, demonstrations, quotations, negotiation, follow-up, and sales closure.
- Conduct client visits, product presentations, demonstrations, and sales meetings.
- Build and maintain relationships with existing and prospective customers.
- Prepare quotations and commercial proposals and follow up with customers.
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
- Develop new accounts and identify opportunities for repeat business and upselling.
- Coordinate with technical, installation, production, and service teams for project execution and after-sales support.
- Maintain records of leads, enquiries, quotations, customer follow-ups, and sales pipeline.
- Monitor market trends, customer requirements, and competitor activities.
- Travel as required for customer meetings and business development.

Requirements
- 2–5 years of experience in B2B, industrial, technical, engineering, machinery, automation, or packaging sales.
- Experience in coding and marking, labelling, industrial printing, packaging machinery, or automation will be an advantage.
- Valuable understanding of manufacturing and production industries.
- Strong communication, presentation, negotiation, and sales closing skills.
- Ability to generate leads and develop new business.
- Ability to understand basic technical specifications and explain products to customers.
- Strong customer relationship management skills.
- Self-motivated and target-oriented.
- Willingness to travel for client meetings and business development.
- Ability to work independently and coordinate with technical and service teams.

Relevant Experience Candidates with experience as Sales Manager, Assistant Sales Manager, Area Sales Manager, Territory Sales Manager, Territory Manager, Regional Sales Manager, Business Development Manager, Technical Sales Engineer, Industrial Sales Executive, Automation Sales Engineer, or Packaging Machinery Sales professional may apply.

Experience with coding and marking, Auto ID, barcode labelling, label applicators, print and apply systems, TTO, thermal transfer printing, MRP printers, industrial printers, packaging machinery, or automation solutions will be preferred.

Education

Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech / MBA (Sales & Marketing) or equivalent qualification.
