Role Description This full-time, in office Assistant Professor of Pharmacy role is based at GGI in Khanna. The role involves delivering lectures, tutorials, and practical sessions in core and elective pharmacy subjects, following the prescribed curriculum and academic standards.
The Assistant
Professor will design lesson plans, prepare teaching materials, assess student performance through examinations and assignments, and provide academic mentoring and guidance.
Responsibilities include contributing to departmental research activities, supervising student projects, and participating in academic initiatives, seminars, and workshops.
The role also requires involvement in curriculum development, continuous quality improvement, and committee work to support the overall functioning of the institute.
Qualifications
- A candidate should possess a postgraduate degree in Pharmacy (M.Pharm) from a recognized institution; a Ph.D. in Pharmacy or related discipline is preferred.
- A candidate should possess strong teaching and classroom management skills, including the ability to explain complex concepts clearly and engage diverse learners.
- A candidate should possess research and academic writing skills, with the ability to participate in projects, publish in journals, and guide student research work.
- A candidate should possess up-to-date knowledge of pharmacy practice, pharmaceutical sciences, regulations, and emerging trends in the field.
- A candidate should possess effective communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills for working with students, colleagues, and academic committees.
- A candidate should possess basic competency in educational technology, including learning management systems, presentation tools, and digital resources.
- Relevant teaching experience at the undergraduate or postgraduate level and registration with a professional pharmacy council, where applicable, would be beneficial.
