We are seeking a motivated Bioinformatics Analyst to analyze and interpret biological and genomic datasets using computational, statistical, and bioinformatics approaches.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze next-generation sequencing (NGS), genomic, transcriptomic, proteomic, or other biological datasets.
- Perform quality control, data preprocessing, alignment, variant analysis, annotation, and downstream interpretation.
- Develop, execute, and maintain bioinformatics pipelines and analytical workflows.
Required Skills
- Knowledge of molecular biology, genetics, genomics, and bioinformatics.
- Programming/scripting skills in Python and/or R.
- Familiarity with Linux/Unix command line.
Education
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, Biotechnology, Biology, Genetics, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
- Research/project experience in bioinformatics is advantageous.
