Looking for the Merchandiser the entire product lifecycle — from design and sampling to production and shipment. This role bridges communication between buyers, designers, and production teams to ensure garments meet quality, cost, and delivery requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
● Product Development: Coordinate with designers and buyers on current styles, fabrics, and trims; manage sample development and approvals.
● Costing & Order Management: Prepare cost sheets, finalize prices with buyers/vendors, and confirm orders.
● Production Coordination: Follow up with factories for fabric sourcing, production tracking, and quality checks.
● Buyer Communication: Serve as the main contact for buyers on order updates, approvals, and feedback. ● Quality & Delivery:
Ensure production meets quality standards and delivery deadlines; coordinate shipment schedules and documentation.
● Documentation: Maintain accurate records of samples, orders, production status, and shipment details.
Qualifications:
● Bachelor’s in Fashion Design, Textile Technology, or Apparel Merchandising.
● 3 –5 years of experience in apparel merchandising.
● Strong understanding of garment construction, fabrics, and production processes.
● Excellent communication, negotiation, and follow-up skills.
● Proficiency in MS Excel and merchandising tools/software.
Work Mode : Onsite Office Timing : 10-7 PM
