- Experience Required: 8 to 13 years
The position will be responsible for driving Quality Assurance, Quality Control and Process Improvement activities in the manufacture of Fibre Cement Sheets and Calcium Silicate Boards.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead Quality Assurance and Quality Control activities across the manufacturing process.
• Manage and guide a team of Quality Engineers and shop-floor Line Inspectors.
• Establish and strengthen quality systems, process controls and inspection standards.
• Monitor critical process parameters and initiate improvements for consistent product quality.
• Drive root-cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions for process and quality deviations.
• Apply SQC/SPC techniques for process monitoring, analysis and improvement.
• Ensure effective implementation of product and raw-material testing methodologies.
• Analyse quality and process data using Minitab, MS Excel and other analytical tools.
• Work closely with Production, Maintenance and Technical teams to improve process capability.
• Promote a culture of quality excellence, defect prevention and continuous improvement.
Candidate Profile:
• Diploma / Degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering, OR M.Sc. in Industrial / Inorganic Chemistry.
• Robust hands-on exposure to Quality Control and Quality Assurance in manufacturing.
• Experience in a continuous-process industry will be preferred.
• Sound knowledge of SQC/SPC, statistical analysis and various testing methodologies.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, team-management and shop-floor leadership skills.
