Role Description: The Assistant Manager – Legal at House of Ohana is a full time, on-site position based in Hyderabad. The role is responsible for reviewing, drafting, negotiating, and managing legal documents and contracts to protect the organization’s interests. Day-to-day responsibilities include providing practical legal advice to internal stakeholders, supporting real estate transactions and operational decisions, and ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
The Assistant
Manager – Legal will coordinate with external legal advisors when required, assist in resolving disputes, support legal due diligence, and maintain accurate records of legal matters and documentation. The role also involves monitoring regulatory changes, supporting internal compliance processes, and collaborating with cross-functional teams including land acquisition, sales, finance, and project teams.
Requirements & Qualifications
Experience: 2 ± 5 Years
Budget: ₹25K ± ₹45K per month
- Strong foundation in Law, with the ability to interpret statutes, regulations, agreements, and case law relevant to real estate and business operations.
- Proficiency in legal document drafting and review, including agreements, contracts, MoUs, notices, letters, and other formal legal documents.
- Experience in providing in-house legal advisory,
with the ability to provide clear and practical guidance to internal stakeholders.
- Strong understanding of real estate legal matters, including property documentation, land-related transactions, agreements, and legal due diligence.
- Knowledge of legal and regulatory compliance, including applicable real estate regulations and statutory requirements.
- Ability to manage legal affairs and disputes, including coordination with external counsel, documentation, case tracking, and follow-up on legal matters.
- Experience in reviewing title documents, property records, agreements, and transaction-related documentation will be an advantage.
- Bachelor’s degree in Law (LL.B) or equivalent professional qualification; LL.M or specialization in Corporate, Commercial, or Real Estate Law will be an advantage.
- Prior experience in corporate, commercial, real estate, or property law, preferably within a real estate developer or growing organization.
- Strong analytical, research, and problem-solving skills, with excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple legal matters simultaneously.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with legal counsel and cross-functional teams.
- High level of integrity, confidentiality, professional judgment, and ethical conduct.
