Role Description The Assistant Manager Finance role is a full time, on-site position based in Kerala, India. The role involves overseeing day-to-day financial operations, including accounts management, budgeting, and financial reporting.
The Assistant Manager
Finance will monitor cash flow, assist with cost control initiatives, and support compliance with internal policies and external regulatory requirements. This position will help prepare management reports, support audits, coordinate with banks and vendors, and contribute to financial planning and analysis.
The role also includes collaborating with operations and senior leadership to ensure accurate financial data for decision-making and to improve financial processes and controls.
Qualifications
- Strong financial accounting and reporting skills, including experience with general ledger, reconciliations, and financial statements.
- Proficiency in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis to support planning and decision-making.
- Knowledge of taxation, compliance, and audit processes, preferably within healthcare or service industries.
- Hands-on experience with finance and accounting software, spreadsheets, and ERP systems.
- Excellent numerical aptitude, attention to detail, and ability to interpret financial data.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills for working with cross-functional teams and external partners.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and maintain high ethical and professional standards.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, or a related field; professional certifications (such as CA, CMA, ) are an advantage.
- Prior experience in a finance or accounts role, ideally in healthcare, hospitality, or wellness-focused organizations.
