WE’RE HIRING: ASST. MANAGER – ACCOUNTS & FINANCE

Accordible is looking for a solid Accounts & Finance Manager who can build financial discipline, improve cash-flow visibility and provide management with reliable information for decision-making.

This is a managerial role, not a bookkeeping-only position.

ROLE MANDATE The Finance Manager will take ownership of the complete finance cycle:

Accounting → Compliance → Billing → Collections → Cash Flow → MIS → Profitability → Financial Controls

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Lead monthly books closure and ensure accurate accounting
- Review bank, customer and vendor reconciliations
- Control billing and prevent unbilled revenue
- Own receivable ageing, collections and overdue recovery
- Manage payables, vendor reconciliations and payment cycles
- Maintain a rolling 13-week cash-flow forecast
- Ensure timely GST, TDS, PF, ESIC, PT and other statutory compliance
- Review payroll inputs, deductions, advances and reimbursements
- Prepare monthly P&L;, Balance Sheet summaries and Management MIS
- Monitor budgets, overheads, direct costs and margin performance
- Develop client-wise, service-wise and job-wise profitability reporting
- Strengthen maker-checker controls and prevent financial leakage
- Lead, allocate and review the work of the Accounts & Finance team

MANAGEMENT REPORTING The Finance Manager will provide clear visibility of:

Booked → Executed → Invoiced → Collected The monthly Finance Dashboard will also cover:

- Cash position and forecast
- Receivable and payable ageing




- Gross profit and gross margin
- EBITDA and PAT
- Budget vs Actual
- Client, service and job profitability
- Financial risks and corrective actions

KEY KRAs AND KPIs

Financial Accuracy & Compliance
- Monthly books closure by the 7th working day
- Accounting accuracy of at least 99%
- 100% on-time statutory compliance

Cash Flow, Billing & Collections
- At least 95% of eligible executed revenue invoiced within three working days
- At least 90% of due collections received within agreed credit terms
- Immediate 30-day cash-flow forecast variance maintained within ±10%

Profitability, MIS & Financial Controls
- Monthly Management MIS submitted by the 10th
- At least 95% of material revenue mapped to identifiable direct costs
- Zero material financial leakage resulting from control failure

CANDIDATE PROFILE

- 6–9 years of relevant Accounts & Finance experience
- Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, accounts receivable and accounts payable
- Experience managing monthly closure and Balance Sheet schedules
- Strong understanding of cash flow and working-capital management
- Experience preparing P&L;, MIS and Budget vs Actual reports
- Strong Excel and financial-analysis skills
- Experience managing a small finance team
- Strong follow-up, ownership and problem-solving ability




- Comfortable working directly with the CEO and senior management

PREFERRED BACKGROUND

- B.Com or M.Com
- CA Inter, CMA Inter or MBA Finance is desirable
- Experience with Tally, Zoho Books or an equivalent accounting system
- Experience in facility management, manpower, projects, contracting, hospitality services or another B2B service business
- Exposure to job costing and project profitability

We need a finance professional who can move beyond transaction processing and convert financial data into business insight.

The ideal candidate should be able to:

- Explain the key drivers behind financial performance
- Provide reliable visibility of cash flow and working capital
- Identify margin leakage and cost-control opportunities
- Anticipate financial risks before they affect operations
- Recommend practical and commercially sound corrective actions
- Establish financial accountability across departments

This role will not suit candidates whose experience is limited to data entry, voucher posting, GST filing, payroll processing or operating Tally without financial analysis and management reporting.
