Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Assistant General Manager Accounts & Banking to lead and manage key finance, accounting, and banking activities of the organization. The ideal candidate should have 10+ years of relevant experience in Accounts/Finance with strong banking exposure and possess excellent knowledge of financial operations, accounting practices, compliance, and banking processes.

The ideal candidate should hold a Bachelors degree in Commerce, Finance, Accounting, or a related field. CA qualification is preferred; candidates who have completed relevant levels of the CA course (CA Inter/Final or equivalent) with substantial practical experience in Accounts, Finance, and Banking may also be considered.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage and oversee day-to-day accounting, finance, and banking operations.
- Handle banking transactions, fund management, cash flow, and working capital requirements.
- Monitor accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and bank reconciliations.
- Prepare and review financial statements, MIS reports, and management reports.
- Coordinate with banks and financial institutions for various banking requirements and transactions.
- Monitor cash flows and ensure optimum utilization of funds.
- Ensure timely completion of statutory payments, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, financial planning,



and variance analysis.
- Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards, tax regulations, and statutory requirements.
- Coordinate with auditors, consultants, bankers, and other external stakeholders.
- Review internal financial controls and identify opportunities for process improvement.
- Provide financial insights and recommendations to senior management for business decision-making.
- Lead and guide the accounts/finance team and ensure timely completion of deliverables.
- Handle other finance and accounting responsibilities assigned by management.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- Bachelors Degree in Commerce, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- CA preferred; candidates who have completed relevant levels of CA may also be considered based on experience.
- Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in Accounts/Finance with strong banking exposure.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and banking operations.
- Positive understanding of statutory compliance and financial controls.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage teams and work effectively with senior management, auditors, and banking partners.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting/ERP systems.
