Assessment Internship – Competition/Antitrust Law
Location: South Extension, New Delhi
Start Date: Immediate
Duration: 6 Months
Role Description
We are looking to onboard a highly motivated Assessment Intern in the Competition Law practice for a period of six (6) months. This role is designed as a long-term talent pipeline, with the opportunity to transition into a full-time position based on the incumbent’s performance, commitment, and cultural fit.
We are a lean competition law team composed of some of the best talent in the industry, with an open-door culture that encourages direct communication and easy access to leadership.
Work Responsibilities
- Conduct legal research on competition/antitrust laws, regulations, and case precedents
- Assist in preparing the first cut/initial draft of legal documents including regulatory communication, statement of objection, writ petitions, replies etc.
- Assist in preparing notes, briefs, and presentations on ongoing matters
- Support the team in merger control filings, cartel investigations, and abuse of dominance cases
- Track regulatory developments and enforcement trends in competition law
- Assist in drafting articles, thought leadership pieces, and client updates
- Work closely with team members on live matters and internal knowledge management
Requirements
Eligibility Criteria
- Final-year law students (5-year or 3-year LL.B. program) or a recent graduate (2025) wanting to move to Antitrust practice.
- Solid academic background with a demonstrated interest in Competition Law
- Prior internship experience in competition law / antitrust practice is preferred
- Candidates with published articles, research papers, or blogs in this domain will be given preference
