Job Title: AS400 Developer

Experience: 2–8 Years

Location: Delhi, Pune, Indore, Bangalore, Hyderabad & Chennai

Employment Type: Full time The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in RPGLE, RPG/400, SQLRPGLE, CLLE, CL/400, DB2, SQL, and ILE concepts . The candidate will be responsible for developing and supporting business-critical applications, troubleshooting technical issues, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, enhance, and maintain applications on the AS400 platform .
- Develop and troubleshoot programs using RPGLE, RPG/400, SQLRPGLE, CLLE, and CL/400 .
- Analyze existing applications and implement enhancements and technical solutions.
- Develop and maintain Physical Files (PF) and Logical Files (LF) .
- Write, optimize, and troubleshoot SQL queries using DB2 .
- Develop and analyze RPGLE Free Format and Fixed Format programs.
- Apply ILE concepts , including Activation Groups, Procedures, Modules, and Service Programs.
- Work with IBM i Commands and APIs .
- Design and maintain menus and screens using SDA .
- Work with Printer File layouts using RLU .
- Manage FTP and SFTP file transmission within the IBM i environment.
- Support integrations using SOAP and REST Web Services .
- Understand and work with User Hooks within IBM i applications.
- Perform application troubleshooting, debugging, production support, and defect resolution.
- Follow change management and implementation processes, preferably using THENON .




- Collaborate with business stakeholders and technical teams to understand requirements and deliver solutions.
- Participate in Agile development processes , including sprint planning, development, testing, and deployment.
- Track and manage tasks and incidents using JIRA and ServiceNow .
