Qualifications:

Essential – Professional degree / BE/ B.Tech in Mechanical / Metallurgy from reputed institute

Desirable: Degree/ Diploma in Operation / General Management.

Experience:

Essential: 8 - 10 years of experience in Quality Function in Metal Industry.

Desirable: Working Exposure of Quality techniques – Visual, Spectrometry, Chemical compositions.

The Area Head – Quality Control will be responsible for overseeing and ensuring the quality assurance and control across at the plant.This position plays a critical role in maintaining high standards in the quality of raw materials, in-process checks, and finished goods, in alignment with company protocols and industry best practices.

·Report of all parameters to ensure information gathering on quality of raw materials, in process products and finished goods.

·Perform quality tests as per defined SOPs on incoming goods, in process and finished goods and report any deviations

·Check QRC/PRC of every incoming container and update the same on the systems

·Take corrective actions for any deviations under the guidance of Lead, Quality control

·Calibrate and maintain all quality instruments as and when needed and identify and troubleshoot quality equipment issues

·Report all quality related parameters into MIS and make regular reports for the same and supply quality control data necessary for regulatory submissions

·Participate in internal assessments and audits as and when required
