We are looking for an experienced and creative Design Team Lead to lead our design team and oversee multiple interior design projects from concept to completion. The ideal candidate should have strong experience with reputed corporate interior design firms and a proven track record of delivering large-scale projects across corporate offices, retail environments, showrooms, and hospitality spaces.

The role requires strong design leadership, client management, creative thinking, and project coordination skills, along with the ability to translate design concepts into practical, high-quality, and buildable solutions.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop innovative interior design concepts for corporate offices, retail spaces, showrooms, hotels, and hospitality projects.
- Lead, mentor, and support the design team while managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Provide design direction and strategic guidance throughout the project lifecycle.
- Take key design decisions related to colour schemes, materials, furniture, finishes, and overall aesthetics.
- Present design concepts and proposals to clients, contractors, suppliers, and stakeholders.
- Collaborate with architects, consultants, contractors, management, and external teams for seamless project coordination.
- Manage projects from schematic design through design development and completion.
- Coordinate with clients, consultants, and contractors and act as the primary point of communication throughout project phases.
- Work closely with the Principal of the firm and clients from initial design conception through design development and necessary permit processes.
- Create design sketches and concepts both manually and digitally using CAD or similar software.
- Develop and review detailed design documentation, including Material Booklets, Sample Boards, Schedules of Finishes, FF&E; Booklets, and Furniture Concepts.




- Ensure design intent is maintained during execution while meeting quality, functionality, aesthetic, and timeline requirements.
- Identify design and execution challenges and provide practical and creative solutions.
- Mentor team members and promote continuous development of design capabilities.

Required Experience &

Qualifications

- Minimum 10 years of professional experience in a reputed corporate interior design firm.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating successful delivery of multiple large-scale interior projects.
- Proven expertise in design leadership, concept development, and design direction.
- Strong experience in corporate workplace interiors is highly preferred.
- Ability to understand and translate client vision and business objectives into compelling design solutions.
- Excellent client communication, presentation, and stakeholder coordination skills.
- Strong strategic and creative thinking with refined design sensibility and attention to detail.
- Ability to develop functional, practical, well-resolved, and buildable design solutions.
- Proven experience in leading, mentoring, and developing design teams.
- Strong knowledge of interior materials, finishes, furniture, and design detailing.
- Proficiency in CAD or similar interior design software.
