Applied Scientist at Skyfall AI

Job Overview:

Skyfall AI is seeking a passionate and creative Applied Scientist to join our advanced AI team in Bengaluru. In this role, you will drive research and development on cutting‐edge large language models (LLMs) and related technologies. Your work will span from pre-training and fine-tuning to post-training tasks—including reinforcement learning from human feedback (RLHF) and prompt engineering—to deliver production-grade solutions that power next-generation enterprise applications.

Key Responsibilities:

- LLM Development & Optimization:
- Develop, implement, and evaluate state-of-the-art large language models for various applications

- Fine-tune and optimize LLMs for domain-specific tasks using techniques such as instruction tuning, post-training methods, and RLHF

- Research & Innovation:





- Explore novel model architectures and training methodologies to enhance performance and efficiency

- Stay current with the latest research developments and integrate emerging techniques into our production systems

Minimum Qualifications:

- Experience with transformer architectures (e.g., GPT, BERT) and modern LLM-based solutions

- Robust expertise in machine learning, with a focus on natural language processing and large-scale language models

- Hands-on experience with deep learning frameworks such as PyTorch or TensorFlow and proficiency in Python

- Demonstrated experience in model pre-training, fine-tuning, and deployment in production settings

- Familiarity with RLHF techniques and prompt engineering is highly desirable
