We are looking for an experienced and proactive Application Support Engineer to join the Production Support team in Navi Mumbai. In this role, you will ensure high availability, performance, and stability for critical banking applications. You will manage end-to-end incident lifecycles, monitor enterprise systems running on Oracle WebLogic, troubleshoot database issues with Oracle DB, and deliver support aligned with ITIL service management standards.

Key Responsibilities

- Application &
- Production Support: Provide L1/L2 production support for core banking platforms, monitoring batch jobs, system health, server uptime, and business transactions.

- Middleware &

- Server Management: Administer, configure, and troubleshoot Oracle WebLogic Server environments, managing deployments, thread pools, JMS queues, and connection pools.

- Database Troubleshooting: Query and analyze Oracle Database environments using SQL/PL-SQL; diagnose performance locks, optimize long-running queries, and verify data consistency during incident triage.

- ITSM &

- Ticket Lifecycle: Manage incident, problem, and change management workflows using ServiceNow, strictly adhering to corporate SLAs and operational KPIs.

- ITIL Practices:



Execute ITIL-aligned service delivery processes, including Root Cause Analysis (RCA), post-incident reviews, and release validation.

- Shift Operations: Support 24/7 rotational operations, bridge calls during major production outages, and execute smooth shift handovers.

Qualifications &

- Technical Skills

- Experience: 13 years of hands-on experience in production/application support, preferably within banking, financial services, or high-volume enterprise systems.

- Middleware: Strong administrative and troubleshooting expertise in Oracle WebLogic (deployment, log analysis, heap/thread dump inspection).

- Database: Proficiency in Oracle DB (SQL querying, understanding execution plans, basic PL/SQL).

- Ticketing &
- Monitoring: Hands-on experience with ServiceNow for Incident, Problem, and Change Management.

- Frameworks: Solid understanding of ITIL v3 / v4 frameworks (ITIL certification is a solid plus).

- Operating Systems: Comfortable working with Linux/Unix environments, including shell commands and shell scripting.

- Education: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
