API & Integration DeveloperJob Overview

We are looking for a skilled API & Integration Developer to design, develop, integrate, and maintain reliable APIs and third-party system integrations. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in backend development, API architecture, authentication, data handling, and troubleshooting integration issues.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain RESTful APIs and backend services.
- Integrate third-party APIs, payment gateways, SaaS platforms, and external services.
- Develop secure API authentication using API keys, OAuth, JWT, and other authentication methods.
- Handle API requests, responses, validation, error handling, and data transformation.
- Work with databases to store, retrieve, and synchronize application data.
- Troubleshoot API failures, integration issues, data mismatches, and performance problems.
- Implement proper logging, monitoring, and error-handling mechanisms.
- Collaborate with frontend, backend, QA, and DevOps teams.
- Create and maintain API documentation using tools such as Swagger/OpenAPI or Postman.
- Optimize APIs for scalability, performance, security, and reliability.
- Participate in testing, debugging, code reviews, and production support.

Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of REST APIs, HTTP methods, JSON, and web services.




- Experience with Node.js / Express.js or similar backend technologies.
- Good understanding of JavaScript/TypeScript.
- Experience working with MongoDB, MySQL, PostgreSQL, or other databases.
- Hands-on experience with third-party API integrations.
- Understanding of authentication and authorization mechanisms.
- Experience with Git and version-control workflows.
- Positive debugging and problem-solving skills.
- Understanding of API security, validation, rate limiting, and error handling.

Good to Have
- Experience with GraphQL, Webhooks, OAuth 2.0, JWT.
- Experience integrating payment gateways such as Stripe or similar platforms.
- Familiarity with Docker, AWS, CI/CD, and cloud-based deployments.
- Experience with API testing tools such as Postman.
- Knowledge of microservices and asynchronous processing.

Experience 1–5 years of experience in API development, backend development, or system integration.

Pay: ₹14,397.46 - ₹65,447.54 per month
