Role Description

We are looking for an Android Software Engineer for a full-time, on-site opportunity based in Morena, Madhya Pradesh, India.

The role is suitable for fresh graduates and early-career technology professionals interested in Android development, mobile application development, Kotlin, Java, APIs, databases, cloud technologies, software engineering, and modern mobile-development practices.

The Android Software Engineer will work closely with software, backend, IT, data, analytics, operations, finance, production, supply chain, sales, and other business teams to develop, test, maintain, and improve reliable and user-friendly Android applications and mobile solutions.

The role may involve working with Kotlin, Java, Android SDK, Android Studio, Jetpack Compose, XML, REST APIs, local databases, cloud services, authentication, notifications, testing tools, and backend integrations depending on project and business requirements.

Qualifications

- B.E. / B.Tech / B.Sc. / BCA / MCA / M.Sc. / M.Tech in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Computer Applications, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, Electronics, or a related discipline.
- Freshers and experienced candidates are strongly encouraged to apply.
- Candidates with 0–5 years of experience in Android development, mobile application development, software engineering, software development, Java development, Kotlin development, application development, or related technology roles can apply.
- Candidates currently working as Android Software Engineer, Android Developer, Mobile Application Developer, Mobile Software Engineer, Kotlin Developer, Java Developer, Software Engineer, Software Developer,



Application Developer, Associate Software Engineer, or Junior Software Engineer are encouraged to apply.
- Candidates from IT services, SaaS, product companies, technology, consulting, e-commerce, fintech, telecom, analytics, manufacturing, logistics, FMCG, or other industries are welcome.
- Basic to good programming knowledge in Kotlin, Java, or both.
- Basic understanding of Android SDK, Android Studio, application components, activities, fragments, services, intents, and application lifecycle.
- Familiarity with Jetpack Compose, XML layouts, Material Design, or modern Android UI-development practices will be beneficial.
- Understanding of object-oriented programming, data structures, algorithms, debugging, and software-development fundamentals.
- Familiarity with Android Jetpack components such as ViewModel, LiveData, Room, Navigation, WorkManager, or similar technologies will be beneficial.
- Basic to good understanding of REST APIs, JSON, HTTP/HTTPS, web services, authentication, authorization, and mobile-backend integration.
- Familiarity with Retrofit, OkHttp, Volley, Ktor, or similar networking libraries will be beneficial.
- Exposure to Room, SQLite, Firebase, Realm, or similar local and cloud data-storage technologies will be an advantage.
- Familiarity with MVVM, MVC, MVP, Clean Architecture, repository patterns, or other mobile-application architecture concepts will be beneficial.
- Exposure to Kotlin Coroutines, Flow, RxJava, asynchronous programming, or multithreading will be an advantage but is not mandatory.
- Familiarity with Git, GitHub, version control, code reviews, debugging, and collaborative software-development workflows.
- Exposure to JUnit, Espresso, Mockito, UI testing, unit testing, or automated testing tools will be beneficial but is not mandatory.
- Exposure to Firebase services such as Authentication, Cloud Messaging, Crashlytics, Analytics, Firestore,



or Remote Config will be considered an additional advantage.
- Basic understanding of push notifications, deep links, background services, permissions, and Android application security will be beneficial.
- Exposure to Google Play Console, application publishing, app signing, release management, or Play Store deployment will be an advantage but is not mandatory.
- Familiarity with Gradle, dependency management, build variants, application configuration, and Android build processes will be beneficial.
- Exposure to AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud, Docker, CI/CD, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or mobile DevOps tools will be considered an advantage but is not mandatory.
- Basic understanding of mobile performance optimization, memory management, battery usage, caching, offline functionality, and application monitoring will be beneficial.
- Familiarity with OAuth, JWT, secure storage, encryption, API security, or secure mobile-development practices will be an advantage.
- Exposure to Flutter, React Native, iOS development, cross-platform mobile development, or other mobile technologies will be considered an additional advantage but is not mandatory.
- Exposure to analytics, AI/ML integration, maps, location services, payment gateways, camera APIs, Bluetooth, IoT, or other mobile capabilities will be considered an advantage.
- Good analytical, logical, debugging, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication, documentation, collaboration, and teamwork abilities.
- Ability to understand business and user requirements and translate them into practical Android application solutions.
- Willingness to work in an on-site environment.
- Internship, Android project, Kotlin project, Java project, mobile application, GitHub project, Play Store application, hackathon, freelance project, startup project, or academic mobile-development project will be considered but is not mandatory.
- Candidates without previous full-time Android-development experience can also apply.
- Robust willingness to learn new Android technologies, Kotlin features, mobile frameworks, APIs, cloud platforms, and modern software-development practices.
