We are looking for an experienced SDE 2 Android Engineer with 4+ years of hands-on Android development experience to design, develop, and maintain high-quality Android applications.
The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Java, Kotlin, OOP, RxJava, Android application development, networking, offline storage, performance optimization, and RESTful APIs. The candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, responsive, and high-quality mobile experiences while taking ownership of technical implementations and project completion.

Mandatory Skills
- 4+ years of professional experience in Android Development
- Strong proficiency in Java and Kotlin
- Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP)
- Hands-on experience with RxJava and Kotlin
- Strong understanding of Android application development
- Experience with offline storage databases
- Strong knowledge of multi-threading and networking
- Experience with RESTful APIs and backend service integration
- Proficiency with Android Studio performance and memory management tools
- Experience implementing push notifications and cloud messaging APIs
- Strong understanding of Google Material Design principles and interface guidelines
- Experience with Git or other code versioning tools
- Hands-on experience writing Android Studio test cases
- Familiarity with CI environments and deployment pipelines
- Strong foundation in Data Structures & Algorithms (DSA)
- Strong logical reasoning, debugging, and problem-solving skills

- Experience building and maintaining production-grade Android applications

Key Responsibilities
- Design and build advanced Android applications with a focus on performance, quality, and responsiveness
- Develop and maintain scalable Android features using Java and Kotlin
- Implement asynchronous and reactive functionality using RxJava and Kotlin
- Work with offline storage databases, networking, and multi-threading
- Integrate Android applications with backend services through RESTful APIs
- Implement push notifications and cloud messaging capabilities
- Follow Google's Material Design principles and interface guidelines
- Use Android Studio tools to identify and resolve performance and memory-related issues
- Identify bottlenecks, troubleshoot application issues, and fix bugs to maintain high code quality
- Write and maintain robust Android test cases
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and deliver new features
- Participate in code reviews and follow effective software development practices
- Work with Git and CI/CD environments for version control and deployment
