Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced AMS Verification Engineer with solid hands-on expertise in Analog Mixed-Signal (AMS) Verification to join our client's engineering team in Bangalore.

The ideal candidate should have practical experience in Verilog-AMS, SystemVerilog, wreal modeling, and AMS simulation environments such as Xcelium AMS or VCS AMS.

Candidates with strong experience in both analog and digital verification domains and the ability to debug mixed-signal issues are preferred.

Mandatory Technical Skills

Candidates must have hands-on experience in:

- AMS / Mixed-Signal Verification
- Verilog-AMS
- SystemVerilog
- wreal Modeling
- Xcelium AMS and/or VCS AMS
- AMS testbench development and debugging
- Mixed-signal simulation and issue analysis

Key Responsibilities

- Own AMS verification for assigned IPs/subsystems from specification review through sign-off.
- Develop and maintain wreal models for analog blocks to enable fast and scalable verification.
- Develop, enhance, and maintain AMS verification testbenches.
- Work closely with analog designers and digital verification teams to understand circuit functionality and verification requirements.
- Analyze failures across analog and digital domains and drive root-cause analysis and resolution.
- Perform mixed-signal simulations using Xcelium AMS, VCS AMS, or equivalent AMS simulation environments.
- Review and improve existing AMS testbenches, models,



and verification methodologies.
- Contribute to functional coverage, coverage closure, waiver reviews, and verification sign-off.
- Prepare and maintain verification plans, reports, and sign-off documentation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure verification quality and project deliverables.
- Required Experience
- 4–6 years of relevant industry experience in AMS / Mixed-Signal Verification.
- Strong hands-on experience with Verilog-AMS and SystemVerilog.
- Practical experience in wreal modeling.
- Experience with Xcelium AMS and/or VCS AMS.
- Strong understanding of mixed-signal verification methodologies.
- Good debugging and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively with analog, digital, and verification teams.

Preferred Skills
- Experience verifying mixed-signal IPs/subsystems.
- Knowledge of analog behavioral modeling and abstraction techniques.
- Experience with coverage analysis and verification sign-off.
- Exposure to semiconductor / ASIC / SoC development environments.
- Scripting knowledge such as Python, Tcl, or Shell is an added advantage.
