Role Summary

We are looking for experienced AML Transaction Monitoring (TM) L2 Investigators with strong hands-on experience in investigating escalated AML alerts and identifying potential money laundering activities within US/International banking environments.

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct L2 investigations on escalated AML Transaction Monitoring alerts and cases.
- Perform detailed end-to-end transaction and money-flow analysis.
- Review customer KYC, CDD/EDD, Source of Funds/Wealth, and account activity.
- Identify unusual transaction patterns and AML typologies such as structuring, smurfing, layering, and funnel accounts.
- Conduct adverse media screening and gather supporting evidence.
- Determine whether activity requires further escalation or regulatory reporting.
- Prepare clear and detailed investigation/case narratives.




- Support preparation of SAR/STR documentation where required.
- Provide feedback to L1 teams on alert quality and investigation findings.
- Complete investigations within defined SLAs and quality standards.

Mandatory Skills
- 3+ years of relevant AML Transaction Monitoring experience.
- Solid hands-on experience in L2 TM Investigation.
- Experience handling escalated alerts and end-to-end investigations.
- Good understanding of US/International AML regulations and banking processes.
- Strong knowledge of AML typologies and transaction monitoring scenarios.
- Experience with KYC/CDD/EDD, adverse media, and Source of Funds analysis.
- Strong case documentation and narrative-writing skills.
- Excellent communication and analytical skills.
