Job Summary

Resolute Corp Bharat Private Limited is building a new, dynamic proprietary trading desk focused on leveraging technology and quantitative strategies to optimise market opportunities across multiple asset classes. We are looking for an Algo Developer with strong hands-on experience developing ADLs (Algo Design Language) on Trading Technologies (TT), and Python-based quantitative research and strategy development. The ideal candidate will have previously designed, developed, tested, and deployed ADLs on TT, and will be capable of independently researching large market datasets and converting findings into executable, production-ready trading strategies - playing a key role in establishing and scaling this desk from inception.

Key Responsibilities

- ADL Algorithm Development on Trading Technologies

- Develop, test, deploy, and optimise ADLs (Algo Design Language) on Trading Technologies (TT) - must have prior hands-on experience building ADLs on TT.

- Design and implement execution algorithms and automated trading strategies based on trading requirements.

- Work closely with traders and researchers to convert trading ideas and models into production-ready strategies.

- Continuously optimise algorithms for execution quality, latency, fill rates, and overall performance.

- Debug and troubleshoot ADLs and algorithmic strategies in live and simulated trading environments.

- Quantitative Research Strategy Development

- Conduct quantitative research using large historical and real-time market datasets.

- Analyse tick-level, order book, and market data to identify patterns, signals, and trading opportunities.

- Develop research frameworks and tools in Python to test trading hypotheses.

- Create, backtest, and optimise algorithmic trading strategies using Python.

- Evaluate strategy performance and robustness across different market conditions; translate research findings into executable strategies and implement them in ADL.

- Trading Infrastructure

- Build and maintain supporting trading infrastructure,



including order management, execution, monitoring, and PL tools.

- Work with trading APIs, FIX, and/or broker/exchange connectivity.

- Develop tools and processes to support reliable deployment and operation of automated strategies.

- Risk System Monitoring

- Implement risk controls within trading algorithms.

- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues as required; ensure compliance with regulatory standards.

Required Skills Qualifications

Technical Skills

- Strong hands-on experience with ADL on Trading Technologies (TT); proven track record building ADLs/algorithms on TT.

- Strong Python programming skills, with the ability to independently conduct quantitative research and develop trading strategies.

- Experience working with large market datasets, preferably tick-level, order book, or high-frequency data.

- Working knowledge of NumPy, pandas, and Python-based data analysis.

- Experience with trading APIs such as FIX, TT APIs, or broker/exchange APIs.

- Good understanding of electronic trading, order execution, market microstructure, and exchange-traded instruments.

Market Knowledge

- Basic understanding of financial markets and trading instruments.

- Familiarity with futures, options, and electronic trade execution.

Additional Requirements

- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Finance, or a related field.

- 2+ years of experience in an algo developer, quantitative research, or similar role.

- Strong problem-solving and analytical ability.

- Ability to work in a rapid-paced trading environment.
