About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Air Freight Commercial Manager to manage and grow our Air Freight business.

The role will focus on airline procurement, pricing, commercial activities, trade lane development, profitability, and coordination with airlines and logistics partners.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage Air Freight commercial and product activities.
- Develop and maintain relationships with airlines, GSSAs, consolidators, and logistics partners.
- Negotiate airline rates, contracts, spot rates, and cargo capacity.
- Manage Air Freight pricing and support competitive customer quotations.
- Develop and strengthen international trade lanes.
- Monitor freight rates, market conditions, capacity, and fuel-related charges.
- Support RFQs, tenders, and commercial negotiations.
- Work with Sales teams to develop and retain key customers.
- Support business opportunities in Healthcare/Pharma logistics.
- Monitor revenue, shipment volumes, yields, gross profit, and margins.
- Coordinate with Operations to resolve capacity and service-related issues.
- Prepare regular business performance reports.
- Maintain compliance with applicable industry and aviation requirements.
- Guide and support the Air Freight team.

Requirements





- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 7+ years of experience in Freight Forwarding & Logistics.
- 5+ years of experience in Air Freight Product, Procurement, Pricing, or Commercial functions.
- Solid experience in both Air Import and Air Export.
- Hands-on experience with airline rate negotiation and procurement.
- Experience with international Air Freight trade lanes.
- Good understanding of Air Freight pricing, margins, profitability, and commercial operations.
- Experience working with airlines, GSSAs, consolidators, or logistics partners.
- Strong negotiation, communication, analytical, and leadership skills.
- IATA certification is an advantage.
- Healthcare/Pharma logistics experience is an advantage.

Pay: ₹1,000,000.00 - ₹1,500,000.00 per year
