Job Summary:

Airport Ground Staff are responsible for assisting passengers and supporting airport and airline operations on the ground. They ensure smooth passenger handling, check-in, boarding, baggage services, and coordination with other airport departments while maintaining high standards of customer service and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist passengers with check-in, ticketing, and boarding procedures.

- Verify passenger documents, tickets, and identification.

- Issue boarding passes and provide flight-related information.

- Handle passenger queries, complaints, and special assistance requests.

- Assist with baggage check-in, tagging, and collection.

- Coordinate boarding and deboarding of passengers.

- Make announcements regarding flight schedules, gates, delays, and boarding.

- Assist elderly passengers, children, and passengers requiring special assistance.

- Coordinate with airline, security, baggage, and airport operations teams.

- Follow airport security, safety,



and operational procedures.

- Handle flight delays, cancellations, and other passenger-service situations professionally.

- Maintain accurate records and complete required documentation.

- Ensure the passenger waiting and service areas are organized and presentable.

- Good communication and customer-service skills.

- Basic computer knowledge.

- Professional and pleasant personality.

- Ability to work in shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

- Ability to work under pressure in a busy airport workplace.

- Educational requirements vary by airline and position; many entry-level roles accept candidates with 10+2 or equivalent qualifications.
