Position: AI/ML Trainer – CAIT (Canares AI Training Institute)

Location: Yeshwantpur

Reports to: Operations Manager

Type: Full-time or part-time (weekend batch option available)

Canares AI Training Institute trains students and interns to job-ready AI/ML engineers across a 9-module curriculum — Python fundamentals, classical ML, GenAI/LLM concepts, RAG & agents, deployment, and corporate-readiness (SQL, Git, cloud, business communication) — backed by Canares Automation Pvt. Ltd.

Role Summary

Deliver live classroom training across the full curriculum, run hands-on labs, and personally own student outcomes — completion rate, project quality, and placement-readiness — not just lecture delivery.

Key Responsibilities

Teach all/most of the 9 modules to day-scholar and residential batches (Python, ML, GenAI, RAG, agents, deployment)

Run and personally review hands-on labs (Google Colab, API-based projects, Streamlit/FastAPI deployments)

Guide students through the 3 capstone portfolio projects (RAG assistant, autonomous agent, multi-agent studio)

Conduct mock interviews and technical Q&A; prep in final weeks of each batch





Supervise and technically review intern-built MSME client deliverables before handover

Flag struggling students early and adjust pacing per the Faculty Guide's teaching notes

Maintain and improve course material based on batch feedback

Requirements

B.E./B.Tech/MCA in CS/IT or equivalent practical experience (portfolio matters more than degree)

Working proficiency in Python, pandas/NumPy, scikit-learn, and at least one of LangChain/LlamaIndex

Hands-on experience with OpenAI/Anthropic APIs and basic RAG pipeline building

Prior teaching/training/mentoring experience strongly preferred, not mandatory

Comfortable explaining technical concepts in plain English to zero-background learners

Kannada + English fluency preferred

Compensation

Full-time: based on experience

Part time/weekend: ₹800–1,200/hour
