Role Description

We're looking for an AI-Native Developer — a full-stack web developer who builds primarily through contemporary AI coding tools like Claude Code, GPT Codex, and Cursor, and uses them to genuinely multiply output rather than as a novelty. Half of your time will go into building internal tools and systems that scale Indexed itself; the other half will go into building for our clients, many of whom run on WordPress.

You'll set the technical approach for what you build, move fast across multiple projects at once, and be trusted to take a rough idea from a non-technical teammate and turn it into a working tool in days, not weeks. You should be as comfortable explaining a technical decision to a client or a non-developer colleague as you are writing the code itself.

What You'll Do

Build, fast, with AI as your leverage

- Use Claude Code, GPT Codex, Cursor, and similar tools as your primary way of building — full-stack, from front end to back end
- Build internal tools and systems for Indexed that scale delivery, reporting, and operations across the agency
- Build and ship work directly for clients, including WordPress sites and custom builds, on the same fast timeline
- Work across multiple builds at once — internal and client-facing — without dropping quality or pace

Own the pipeline

- Have full proficiency with GitHub and pipeline deployment — branching, review, CI/CD, releases
- Set the technical approach for new tools and builds,



rather than waiting to be handed a spec
- Make the calls on what to build, how, and in what order to hit Indexed's build ambitions

Translate for non-developers

- Explain technical decisions, trade-offs, and timelines clearly to non-technical teammates and clients
- Turn a loosely defined idea from someone outside engineering into a scoped, buildable plan

What We're Looking For

- Full-stack development skills, with genuine, daily hands-on use of AI coding tools like Claude Code, GPT Codex, and Cursor
- Solid WordPress experience — a large share of our clients run on it
- Full proficiency with GitHub and pipeline deployment
- A portfolio of tools or websites you've actually built using AI coding tools — you'll need to walk us through it
- Agency experience is a strong plus
- Good English, and the ability to explain technical work clearly to non-developers and clients
- A strong work ethic — this role moves fast and covers a lot of ground
- Comfortable working on multiple projects (internal and client-facing) at the same time
- 3+ years of experience, including meaningful experience building with AI tools
