Role Description This is a full-time, on-site AI Backend Engineer role based in Faridabad. The AI Backend Engineer will design, implement, and optimize backend services that power AI-driven applications, focusing on scalable APIs, data pipelines, and model serving infrastructure. Day-to-day responsibilities include collaborating with data scientists and frontend engineers, integrating machine learning models into production systems, managing cloud resources, and ensuring performance, reliability, and security of backend services.

The role also involves writing clean, maintainable code, conducting code reviews, troubleshooting production issues, and contributing to architectural decisions and technical documentation.



The engineer will actively participate in agile development practices and continuously improve systems to support new AI features and products.

Qualifications

- Strong backend engineering skills, including proficiency in one or more server-side languages (e.g., Python, Java, Go, or Node.js) and experience building RESTful or GraphQL APIs.
- Experience with data engineering and AI integration, such as working with data pipelines, databases (SQL/NoSQL), and deploying machine learning models into production environments.
- Knowledge of cloud-native technologies, including containerization (Docker), orchestration (Kubernetes), and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) for scalable AI services.
- Solid understanding of software engineering practices, including version control (Git), testing, debugging, performance optimization, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Familiarity with AI and data science concepts, model lifecycle management, and MLOps tools or frameworks is highly beneficial.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams, communicate technical ideas clearly, and take ownership of deliverables.
- Prior experience in building production-grade AI or data-driven systems is a solid plus.
