AI Application Engineer

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced and hands-on AI Application Engineer with strong expertise in Generative AI, Azure OpenAI, cloud application development, and enterprise integrations . The role involves designing, developing, integrating, and optimizing AI-powered solutions for enterprise environments.

The ideal candidate should have practical experience with RAG, AI agents, prompt engineering, Azure AI services, backend development, and enterprise API integrations .

Key Responsibilities

- Design and develop AI-powered applications and enterprise solutions using Azure AI and Generative AI technologies.
- Build and implement RAG pipelines, embeddings, prompt engineering, and grounding techniques .
- Develop and integrate AI agents and orchestration workflows using modern AI frameworks.
- Work with Azure OpenAI, Azure AI Search, Azure Functions, Logic Apps, App Services, Storage, Key Vault, and Event Grid .
- Develop and maintain REST APIs, Webhooks, and OData integrations .
- Build scalable backend services, microservices, and API architectures .
- Perform model inference, evaluation, optimization, and performance tuning .
- Integrate AI solutions with Dynamics 365, Power Platform, and SAP APIs .
- Implement secure and scalable solutions following cloud security,



identity, and access management best practices.
- Collaborate with distributed and global teams to understand business requirements and deliver enterprise-grade AI solutions.
- Support CI/CD, deployment, monitoring, and continuous improvement of AI applications.

Required Skills

- 7+ years of experience in software, cloud, or application development , with strong hands-on experience in AI engineering.
- Strong experience with Azure OpenAI, Generative AI, embeddings, prompt engineering, and RAG .
- Experience building AI agents, orchestration frameworks, and grounding solutions .
- Strong programming skills in Python and/or TypeScript/JavaScript .
- Hands-on experience with Azure AI services and Azure cloud technologies .
- Experience with backend services, microservices, REST APIs, and API design .
- Familiarity with LangChain, Semantic Kernel, and Azure AI SDKs .
- Experience with Azure DevOps and/or GitHub Actions .
- Understanding of cloud security, identity, and access management .
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.

Education

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.

Preferred Experience

- Experience delivering AI or automation solutions in enterprise environments .
- Experience integrating AI applications with Dynamics 365, Power Platform, and SAP .
- Experience with distributed/global teams and enterprise technology environments .
- Exposure to model evaluation, inference optimization, and AI application performance tuning .
- Experience working with enterprise-scale cloud architectures and integrations .
