Job Summary

We are seeking an energetic and target-driven Agri Trading Specialist with 2+ years of experience in agri-inputs. You will handle pan-India multi-brand wholesale trading of agri inputs like fertiliser, seeds, pesticides, spray pumps, etc. Operating purely on a B2B model via telecalling, you will build and maintain relationships with distributors, stockists, large dealers, and institutional buyers to generate wholesale sales orders.

Key Responsibilities

- B2B Phone Sales & Account Management: Call existing and prospective wholesale buyers (distributors, stockists, major dealers) daily to secure high-volume orders for seeds, pesticides, and non-bulk fertilisers.

- Wholesale Order Execution: Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and quantity commitments while strictly filtering out retail-level inquiries to focus solely on wholesale transactions.

- Market Intelligence & Pricing: Track seasonal demand trends, price fluctuations, and competitor moves in seed varieties, specialised crop protection, and micronutrients/fertilizers.

- Relationship Building: Maintain strong, recurring trade relationships with agri-input channel partners to ensure high repeat-order rates.





- Pipeline & Sales Tracking: Maintain accurate records of sales leads, order status, and customer feedback in the CRM/Sales log.

- Coordination: Work closely with the logistics and supply chain teams to ensure smooth dispatch and timely delivery of wholesale orders.

Qualifications & Key Requirements

- 2+ years of experience in wholesale/B2B trading or sales within the agriculture sector (specifically seeds, pesticides, or non-bulk fertilisers).

- Good understanding of product categories, technical formulations (pesticides/crop protection), seed quality specs, and non-bulk fertilizer/micronutrient usage.

- Strong phone presence, negotiation capabilities, and persuasive communication skills.

- Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture (B.Sc. Agri) or related field is preferred, but relevant trading experience takes priority.

- Strong supplier network and industry connections will be preferred.

- Previous experience in Agritech e-commerce companies will be preferred.

- Highly organised, comfortable with high-volume outgoing tele-sales calls, and focused strictly on B2B target achievement.
