The Admission Counsellor will play a key role in driving enrolments for the IB programmes by counselling prospective parents and students. The role requires a solid understanding of international curricula, especially the International Baccalaureate framework, along with excellent communication and relationship management skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle admission enquiries across IB programmes (PYP, MYP, DP).
- Counsel parents and students on IB philosophy, curriculum structure, and learning outcomes.
- Guide families on subject selection, assessments, and university pathways (for DP).
- Manage the complete admission cycle from enquiry to enrolment.
- Conduct school tours and detailed presentations on IB programmes and pedagogy.
- Maintain and update enquiry databases, follow-ups, and conversion reports.
- Achieve enrolment targets and contribute to growth strategies.
- Coordinate with academic teams for seamless onboarding of students.
- Represent the school at events, open houses, and promotional activities.
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree (Master’s preferred).
- 2–5 years of experience in admissions, preferably in IB or international schools.
- Strong understanding of IB programmes (PYP/MYP/DP).
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and CRM systems.
- Ability to work in a target-driven environment.
