Job Summary
We are looking for a Accounts Trainee – Purchase Entry to support our Accounts & Finance team. The candidate will be primarily responsible for entering purchase bills and maintaining accurate purchase records for our outlets.
This is an excellent opportunity for a fresher who wants to gain practical experience in accounting and finance operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Enter daily purchase bills/invoices accurately into the accounting system.
- Verify purchase bills against supporting documents.
- Check invoice details such as vendor name, invoice number, date, quantity, rate, GST, and total amount.
- Maintain proper records of purchase invoices and related documents.
- Coordinate with stores and purchase teams for missing or incorrect bills.
- Identify and report duplicate or incorrect purchase entries.
- Assist in maintaining vendor-wise purchase records.
- Assist with purchase ledger reconciliation.
- Ensure timely and accurate completion of daily purchase entries.
- Maintain proper filing of physical and digital purchase documents.
- Assist the Accounts team with other basic accounting activities when required.
Required Qualifications
- B.Com / M.Com / BBA (Finance) or equivalent qualification.
- Freshers are welcome to apply.
- Basic knowledge of accounting principles.
- Basic knowledge of MS Excel.
- Knowledge of Tally / Tally Prime will be an added advantage.
- Good typing and data-entry skills.
- Good attention to detail and accuracy.
- Willingness to learn accounting procedures.
Preferred Skills
- Basic understanding of Debit and Credit.
- Basic knowledge of GST and purchase invoices.
- Good numerical skills.
- Ability to identify errors in invoices and data.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to work with multiple purchase bills on a daily basis.
Salary ₹15,000 – ₹18,000 per month, depending on skills and interview performance.
