- Inputting Accounts Payable (AP) data accurately and in a timely manner

- Review invoices for accuracy and proper authorization

- Code invoices to appropriate general ledger accounts and cost centers

- Working with vendors to resolve issues, respond to their queries and confirming open balances

- Reviewing and approving employee expense reports in accordance with company policies

- Reconciling expenses with corporate card payments and ensuring accuracy

- Create POs for company expenses

- Providing customer service to internal and external stakeholders, to best of their satisfaction

- Collaborating with the finance team to resolve any discrepancies or issues

- Maintaining proper documentation and records of all transactions

- Assisting with month-end and year-end financial close processes as needed

- Assist with preparation and filing 1099 forms at year-end





- Perform other duties as assigned by management

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting. Masters is a plus.

- Proven work experience as an Accountant or similar role

- Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices

- Proficiency in MS Excel

- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy

- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively

- Robust communication and interpersonal skills

Preferred Qualifications:

- Minimum 2 years of experience as an AP specialist or an Accountant

- Experience working with Net Suite and Concur.

- Knowledge of financial regulations and compliance standards (GAAP as well as IFRS)
