Role & responsibilities

- Manage complete accounting and finance operations for multiple retail stores and warehouse.
- Monitor daily sales, cash, bank reconciliation, collections, expenses and store-wise profitability.
- Handle GST, TDS, PF, ESIC and other statutory compliance and filings.
- Prepare monthly MIS, P&L;, balance sheet, cash-flow and management reports.
- Control accounts payable/receivable, vendor payments and customer outstanding.
- Monitor inventory accounting, stock valuation, shrinkage, wastage and stock adjustments.
- Coordinate with Store, Purchase, Operations, HR and Audit teams.
- Ensure accurate billing, purchase entries, credit notes, debit notes and ledger reconciliation.
- Establish strong financial controls and ensure compliance with company SOPs.
- Support budgeting, forecasting,



cost control and working-capital management.
- Lead internal/external audits and ensure timely closure of audit observations.
- Identify financial discrepancies, control leakages and improve process efficiency.

Preferred candidate profile

- CA preferred.
- Solid knowledge of GST, taxation, accounting and financial controls.
- Experience in multi-store retail accounting and ERP systems.
- Strong analytical, leadership and team-management skills.
