Role Description The Accounting Intern role at Laneway is a remote internship chance supporting the finance and accounting functions of the company and its clients. Day-to-day responsibilities include assisting with the preparation and review of financial statements, recording and reconciling journal entries, and maintaining accurate and organized financial records.





The intern will help with the use of accounting software for data entry, reporting, and basic analysis, as well as support month-end and quarter-end processes. Additional tasks may involve researching accounting issues, preparing documentation for audits or reviews, and collaborating with consultants and project teams on finance-related deliverables. This internship is designed to provide practical experience in a dynamic, growth-focused workplace.

Qualifications

- Foundational accounting knowledge including Financial Statements and Journal Entries (Accounting).
- Ability to work with Accounting Software and basic Finance concepts.
- Strong Analytical Skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Pursuing or recently completed a degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field.
- Proficiency with spreadsheets and office productivity tools (e.g., Excel, Google Sheets).
