An experienced Accountant is required to handle the company’s financial records, ensure accuracy in bookkeeping, assist in tax compliance, and support management in financial decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate accounting records and financial statements.
- Perform account reconciliations for bank accounts, customer accounts, and supplier accounts.
- Prepare and file GST returns and maintain tax compliance.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable.
- Assist in monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial closing activities.
- Generate financial reports (profit & loss statements, balance sheets).
- Ensure all financial transactions are recorded in accounting software (Tally, QuickBooks, etc.).
- Assist in budget preparation and financial forecasting.
- Liaise with auditors during internal and external audits.
- Monitor cash flow and provide regular updates to management.
- Ensure compliance with statutory regulations related to financial reporting.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- B.Com / M.Com / Diploma in Accounting or Finance.
- 5+ years of experience in accounting.
- Proficiency in accounting software (Tally, QuickBooks, ERP systems).
- Strong knowledge of GST and tax compliance.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP).
