Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Accountant role based in Delhi, India. The Accountant will manage day-to-day financial records, including bookkeeping, ledger maintenance, and reconciliation of accounts related to fleet operations, freight services, and vendor payments.

Responsibilities include preparing and verifying invoices, processing customer billing and collections, tracking expenses, and supporting payroll and statutory compliance. The role involves preparing periodic financial reports, assisting with budgeting and cost analysis, coordinating with banks and auditors, and maintaining accurate documentation for taxes and regulatory filings.



The Accountant will collaborate closely with operations and management teams to ensure timely, accurate financial information that supports business decisions.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess solid accounting and bookkeeping skills, including general ledger maintenance, journal entries, and account reconciliation.
- Candidates should possess financial reporting and analysis skills, including preparation of profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow tracking.
- Candidates should possess invoicing, billing, and collection management skills, with attention to accuracy and timeliness.
- Candidates should possess tax and compliance knowledge, including GST, TDS, and other relevant Indian regulatory requirements.
- Candidates should possess proficiency with accounting software and MS Excel, including use of formulas, pivot tables, and data validation.
- Candidates should possess strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills, with a focus on detail and data integrity.
- Candidates should possess clear written and verbal communication skills and the ability to coordinate with internal teams, vendors, and auditors.
- Relevant academic qualifications such as a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field; professional certifications (e.g., CA Inter, CMA, or equivalent) are an advantage.
- Prior experience in transportation, logistics, or related industries is beneficial, along with familiarity with fleet-related cost tracking and operational expenses.
