Role Description The Accountant role at Geatpec Electronics Private Limited is a full-time, on-site position based in Kanpur. The Accountant will manage day-to-day financial operations, including bookkeeping, posting journal entries, and maintaining accurate ledgers.

Responsibilities include preparing and reviewing invoices, processing payments, reconciling bank statements, and monitoring accounts payable and receivable. The role also involves assisting with monthly and annual closing, generating financial reports, ensuring compliance with tax and regulatory requirements, and supporting audits. The Accountant will collaborate with management to provide financial insights that help optimize costs,



support budgeting, and improve overall financial efficiency.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong accounting and bookkeeping skills, including ledger management, journal entry posting, and financial statement preparation.
- Candidates should possess skills in financial analysis, budgeting, and reporting to support decision-making and cost control.
- Candidates should possess proficiency with accounting software and office tools (e.g., Tally or similar ERP systems, spreadsheets, and word-processing applications).
- Candidates should possess knowledge of taxation, GST, and relevant financial regulations, along with experience in compliance and audit support.
- Candidates should possess robust attention to detail, numerical accuracy, and organizational skills to manage multiple financial tasks reliably.
