About the Role

Filohevis is looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to manage day-to-day accounting operations, reconciliations, financial records, and related bookkeeping activities.

The ideal candidate should have hands-on accounting experience and be comfortable working with online transactions, payment gateways, e-commerce/online sales reconciliation, and maintaining accurate financial records.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage day-to-day accounting and bookkeeping activities.
- Record and maintain sales, purchases, expenses, receipts, payments, and other financial transactions.
- Perform bank reconciliation and ensure books are accurately matched with bank statements.
- Handle online payment reconciliation, including payment gateways, UPI, online orders, and settlements.
- Reconcile e-commerce/online sales with payment gateway and bank settlements.
- Track outstanding payments, receivables, payables, and vendor transactions.
- Prepare and maintain invoices, bills, vouchers, and other accounting documents.
- Assist with GST-related accounting and documentation.
- Maintain accurate records of business expenses and transactions.
- Identify discrepancies in accounts and resolve reconciliation issues.
- Coordinate with internal teams, vendors, banks, and external accountants/CA when required.
- Assist in preparing monthly financial reports and account summaries.




- Ensure accounting records are updated regularly and maintained accurately.
- Support the management with accounting-related data and reports whenever required.

Requirements

- Prior work experience as an Accountant is mandatory.
- Minimum 2–3 years of relevant accounting experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of basic accounting principles and bookkeeping.
- Experience with bank reconciliation and online payment reconciliation is highly preferred.
- Experience handling e-commerce/online business accounts will be an added advantage.
- Familiarity with payment gateways, UPI settlements, online transactions, and reconciliation processes is preferred.
- Working knowledge of Tally / Tally Prime, Excel, or other accounting software.
- Basic understanding of GST and taxation-related accounting.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Valuable organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to independently identify and resolve accounting discrepancies.
- Good communication and coordination skills.

- E-commerce accounting
- Online payment gateway reconciliation
- Bank reconciliation
- UPI/payment settlement reconciliation
- Shopify or other e-commerce platforms
- Marketplace reconciliation (Amazon, Flipkart, etc.)
- Tally Prime
- GST accounting
- Inventory and stock accounting
- Accounts receivable/payable management

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
