About The Role

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Accountant (CPA/CA) to join our client's team on a full-time, remote basis. This role is ideal for professionals who are passionate about financial accuracy, compliance, and strategic financial analysis. As an integral part of the finance department, the successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining precise financial records, preparing financial statements, and ensuring adherence to regulatory standards.

Qualifications

- CPA or CA certification, with at least 3 years of relevant accounting experience.
- Strong knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and international accounting standards.




- Proficiency in financial software and ERP systems such as QuickBooks, Xero, or similar platforms.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Effective communication skills to articulate financial data clearly to non-financial stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment while managing multiple priorities.

Responsibilities The core responsibilities of this role include preparing, examining, and analyzing financial statements to ensure accuracy and compliance with applicable standards. The accountant will maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts, including accounts payable and receivable, to ensure the integrity of financial data. Preparing and filing tax returns in accordance with local and federal regulations is a key aspect of the role, requiring a thorough understanding of tax laws and deadlines. Additionally, the accountant will conduct internal audits and risk assessments to identify discrepancies and areas for improvement. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including finance, operations, and management, to support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes is essential.



The role also involves staying updated on regulatory changes and implementing necessary adjustments to maintain compliance.
