Job Title: Accountant

Timing- 10am – 7 pm

Role Summary The Accountant will be responsible for managing day-to-day accounting activities, maintaining accurate financial records, handling invoices and payments, reconciling accounts, and supporting statutory compliance. The role requires strong knowledge of accounting processes and the ability to maintain accurate and timely financial records for a wholesale trading business.

Key Responsibilities

- Maintain day-to-day books of accounts and accounting records.
- Record purchase, sales, receipts, payments, expenses, and other financial transactions.
- Prepare and verify sales and purchase invoices, debit notes, and credit notes.
- Handle accounts payable and receivable and follow up on outstanding balances.
- Perform regular bank, customer, and supplier reconciliations.
- Verify purchase bills and supporting documents before processing payments.
- Coordinate with sales, purchase, warehouse, and management teams regarding financial transactions.
- Maintain proper records of cash and bank transactions.
- Assist in preparation of monthly financial reports and MIS.
- Ensure proper documentation and filing of accounting records.




- Assist with GST, TDS, and other statutory compliance and coordinate with consultants when required.
- Identify accounting discrepancies and resolve them promptly.

Key Skills & Competencies

- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
- Good understanding of GST, TDS, and basic taxation.
- Proficiency in Tally/ERP and MS Excel.
- Strong knowledge of bank and ledger reconciliation.
- Good numerical and analytical skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to manage deadlines and multiple accounting activities.

Qualifications & Experience

- B.Com / M.Com / CA Inter or equivalent qualification.
- 2–5 years of experience in accounting, preferably in a trading, wholesale, retail, or garments business.
- Experience with Tally Prime, GST, Excel, and inventory-related accounting will be preferred.

Job Type: Full time Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
