Role Description The Accountant – Accounts & Systems Integration is a full-time role based in the Pune Division with a hybrid work arrangement, combining onsite collaboration with some work from home flexibility. This role is responsible for managing day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable and receivable, general ledger entries, bank reconciliations, and timely financial reporting. The accountant will support the integration and optimization of financial systems, ensuring accurate data migration, system configuration, and alignment of processes across platforms.

Daily activities include monitoring financial transactions, preparing management reports, assisting with budgeting and forecasting,



and supporting audits and compliance with internal controls and regulatory requirements. The role also involves partnering with operations and project teams to ensure that financial information related to vessel inspections, consultancy projects, and marine services is captured accurately and used for informed decision-making.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Accounting and Financial Reporting skills, including general ledger management and preparation of accurate statements.
- Candidates should possess solid Finance knowledge, including budgeting, forecasting, and understanding of cost control in project-based environments.
- Candidates should possess proficiency with Financial Systems, including ERP or accounting software, and experience in systems integration or process automation.
- Candidates should possess robust Analytical Skills to interpret financial data, perform reconciliations, and provide insights for business decisions.
- Relevant bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional certifications (e.g., CA, CPA, CMA) are an advantage.
- Experience in maritime, engineering, or project-based industries is beneficial, along with familiarity with international accounting standards.
- Strong attention to detail, integrity, and ability to meet deadlines, with effective communication skills for cross-functional collaboration.
- Comfort working in a hybrid model and adapting to evolving systems, tools, and processes in a dynamic business environment.
