Role Description The Accountant will handle day-to-day accounting activities, including recording transactions, maintaining ledgers, and reconciling bank and client accounts.

Responsibilities include preparing financial statements, assisting with audits, and supporting tax computations and filings in line with regulatory requirements. The role involves coordinating with senior team members to ensure accuracy in reports and timely completion of assignments for multiple clients. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Mumbai, requiring regular interaction with internal teams and,



when needed, with clients.

The Accountant is expected to maintain confidentiality, adhere to professional ethics, and contribute to process improvements within the firm.

Qualifications

- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, standards, and bookkeeping practices.
- Proficiency in accounting software (such as Tally, ERP systems, or similar) and MS Excel.
- Ability to prepare and analyze financial statements, reports, and reconciliations.
- Understanding of taxation concepts and regulatory compliance; exposure to audits is an advantage.
- Excellent attention to detail, numerical accuracy, and organizational skills.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field; pursuing or holding professional qualifications (CA, CMA, or equivalent) is an added benefit.
- Willingness to work on-site in Mumbai and manage deadlines in a fast-paced skilled services setting.
