Key Responsibilities

Accounts Receivable Operations

- Manage day-to-day AR activities including collections, cash application, customer reconciliations, and month-end closing.
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of AR balances in accordance with accounting standards and company policies.
- Monitor AR aging and ensure timely follow-up on outstanding balances.

Collections & Credit Management

- Drive collection strategies to improve cash flow and reduce DSO (Days Sales Outstanding).
- Monitor customer credit limits, credit reviews, and overall credit risk exposure.
- Handle escalations related to high-value, high-risk, and long-overdue accounts.

Cash Application & Reconciliation

- Oversee timely application of customer payments.
- Resolve unapplied and unidentified cash.
- Perform regular customer account reconciliations and AR aging reviews.

Dispute & Deduction Management

- Coordinate with Sales, Logistics, Operations, and Customer Service teams to resolve invoice disputes, deductions, and short payments.
- Identify recurring issues and implement corrective and preventive actions.





Process Improvement & Automation

- Identify opportunities for process standardization, automation, and efficiency improvement.
- Participate in AR-related system upgrades, process enhancements, and automation initiatives.

Mandatory Skills
- Strong hands-on experience with SAP.
- Advanced proficiency in MS Excel.
- Solid understanding of Accounts Receivable, collections, cash application, reconciliations, and AR aging.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Profile
- Experience in managing or mentoring an AR team will be an added advantage.
- Exposure to DSO improvement, credit management, dispute resolution, and process automation is preferred.
