Role Description The Account Executive will handle day-to-day accounting and audit support activities, including maintaining ledgers, preparing vouchers, and assisting in the preparation of financial statements. The role involves supporting audit engagements, organizing documentation, coordinating with clients for required information, and helping ensure compliance with GST, income tax, and other statutory requirements.

The Account

Executive will also assist in filing returns, preparing working papers,



and updating management on the status of assignments. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Kolkata, requiring consistent collaboration with the firm’s audit and tax teams.

Qualifications

- Strong knowledge of basic accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Understanding of audit processes, including internal, statutory, tax, GST, and income tax audits.
- Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office (Excel, Word) for bookkeeping and documentation.
- Effective communication and client coordination skills, with attention to accuracy and detail.
- Ability to manage multiple assignments, meet deadlines, and maintain organized records.
- Relevant academic background in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field.
- Prior experience or internship in an accounting or audit firm is an advantage.
- Commitment to confidentiality, professional ethics, and continuous learning in finance and taxation.
