Job brief:

We are seeking a CA Qualified and detail-oriented Accounts Manager with a minimum of 3+ years of relevant post-qualification experience to manage and streamline the company's accounting and financial processes.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for monitoring sales and purchase transactions, managing accounts payables and receivables, handling taxation and licensing, and ensuring compliance with GST, TDS and other statutory requirements and supporting financial reporting and audit. This role requires close coordination with auditors and internal stakeholders, timely preparation of financial statements, and effective management of monthly book closures to ensure accuracy and compliance.

Role & responsibilities

- Manage and oversee Accounts Receivable (AR) processes, collection days, deductions against each customer, overdue amount.
- Review and monitor tasks performed by team members, including, payments, invoicing, data entries, and master data updates
- Prepare and analyse reports such as AR deduction reports, profitability reports across business lines, inventory reports, and payable reports
- Drive automation and process improvements in accounting workflows
- Execute and review month-end closing activities, including preparation of Profit & Loss (P&L;),
- Balance Sheet (BS), Working Capital,



and Cash Flow (CF) statements
- Handle ad hoc financial requests and coordinate with cross-functional teams
- Manage and review audit processes, ensuring quality and timely completion
- Ensure compliance in all payments, including adherence to internal controls, fraud prevention measures, and approval workflows.

Preferred candidate profile

- CA Qualified is mandatory.
- Minimum 3+ years of relevant post-qualification experience in Accounting, Finance, Audit, or Financial Reporting.
- Experience in a Big 4 / Big 6 consulting or audit firm, AgriTech, startup, FMCG, or a similar rapid-paced business environment will be preferred.
- Strong understanding of Indian Accounting Standards, accounting principles, financial reporting, and statutory compliance.
- Hands-on experience in GST, TDS, reconciliations, month-end closure, financial statements, and audit coordination.
- Hands-on experience in Tally and Zoho Books is mandatory.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and financial reporting skills.
- Ability to work independently and take ownership in a hands-on and fast-paced environment.
