AC Mechanic – Job DescriptionJob Summary

We are looking for a skilled and experienced AC Mechanic to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair air-conditioning and refrigeration systems. The candidate should have good technical knowledge, practical troubleshooting skills, and the ability to work safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

- Install, inspect, maintain, and repair split, window, cassette, ducted, and other air-conditioning systems.
- Diagnose electrical, mechanical, and refrigeration-related faults.
- Check and repair compressors, condensers, evaporators, motors, thermostats, fans, and other components.
- Perform refrigerant charging, recovery, leak detection, and pressure testing.
- Clean and service AC filters, coils, drain lines, and related components.
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance according to schedules.
- Use appropriate tools and testing equipment to identify faults and complete repairs.
- Maintain service records and report technical issues when required.
- Follow electrical, refrigeration, and workplace safety procedures.
- Ensure completed work meets quality and customer-service standards.
- Maintain tools, equipment, and the work area in good condition.

Requirements




- ITI/Diploma or equivalent technical qualification in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning is preferred.
- Previous experience as an AC Technician/Mechanic is preferred.
- Knowledge of electrical wiring, refrigeration systems, and HVAC components.
- Ability to read basic electrical and wiring diagrams.
- Valuable troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Valid driving license may be required depending on the job.
- Willingness to work flexible hours or respond to emergency service calls when required.
